Small state agency located in Oak Hill, WV seeks a financial officer. This is a highly responsible professional position managing finances for a very small state agency that receives funds from a variety of grant sources including federal and state agencies and private foundations. Successful applicant will be self-motivated and highly organized. Position may involve occasional in and out-of-state travel. Position may also require occasional evening and weekend work to assist with meetings and events. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, extensive knowledge and experience with the WV OASIS system and experience in grant management and financial reporting are preferred. The ability to learn new tasks utilizing on-line training and support systems is required. Position can be full or part-time and is benefit eligible, including health insurance, retirement, annual and sick leave.
